2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account information (email address) provided during registration or via Google sign-in
• Payment information (processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Images you upload for watermarking
• Watermark settings and saved presets (text, font, size, opacity, position, rotation)
• Usage data (features used, export counts, plan type)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your transactions and manage your subscription
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
• Send you technical notices and support messages
• Respond to your comments and questions

4. Image Processing and Storage

Images you upload are stored on secure servers (AWS S3) for the purpose of applying watermarks. We do not access, view, or use your images for any other purpose. All file access is restricted to your account.

Free Plan: Uploaded images are temporarily stored and automatically deleted after download or within 24 hours, whichever comes first.

Pro and Studio Plans: Watermarked images are stored in your personal Gallery, allowing you to access and re-download them at any time. If you cancel your subscription, your stored images will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

5. Account Settings and Data Changes

You can update your email address or password through the Account Settings page. Email changes are processed securely through our authentication provider (Supabase) and require confirmation via both your old and new email addresses. Password changes take effect immediately. These operations are handled directly by our authentication provider over encrypted connections — your credentials are never stored or processed by our application servers.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Stripe — for secure payment processing
• AWS — for image storage
• Supabase — for authentication and database services
• Legal authorities when required by law

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transfers are encrypted using SSL/TLS. We use security headers, rate limiting, and input validation to protect against common web vulnerabilities.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account through the Account Settings page. Upon account deletion, all associated data — including images, watermark history, saved presets, and personal information — will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
